In years gone by, a game like last night would have me pissed off, but these days it doesn't seem to bother me as much.

Which in part, is a good thing, less stress overall. In predicting all of this over the past several years, I'm no longer surprised to see a Les Miles team eek out an almost loss, over a lesser opponent, grabbing victory from the jaws of defeat, or vice versa.

What's funny to me is all the fans on here screaming about this offensive philosophy when this is what we've had for more than 5 years now, as if they are just now coming to terms with it.

I still expect us to win 9 games this year, but many will be ugly and in at least two we will be blown out. Might as well just sit back and accept it, it will be much less stressful that way.

We won the fricking game. I'm glad it didn't bother you. If wins bothered you than something is fricking wrong with you.

Same here. We had about 6 games like this last year. Won more than we lost. But it was frustrating to the point of not being enjoyable. And that's really ashamed with the talent we have.

I'm the same way. It means you are growing up/maturing. Your priorities change.

I love this meme on here. Apparently the rant thinks lsu is the only team with talent and the only team that wants to win the game.

I enjoy the games, and I enjoy dicking around on the Rant, but that's as far as it goes. Anybody who lets this shite affect their mental wellbeing has problems. And there are a lot of them out there. I can look around the stadium and see genuinely unhappy people everywhere.

I've experienced bad shite in my life, shite that makes me unhappy, upset, discouraged. Everyone has. A loss, or an ugly win, isn't what I call bad shite.

Dude I am truly sorry that the LSU coaching staff doesn't realize that the sole purpose of the game is to make you happy. They need to realize that YOUR desires are paramount.
Indeed they are heartless bastards aren't they?

Getting rid of bandwaggoners and winning simultaneously is a feat only Miles could pull off.

With age comes wisdom.

Two years ago when my son survived a rollover after a blown tire it put life into perspective. I love my Tigers but whether they win or lose doesn't matter in the grand scheme of life.

We have had 3 great years in my opinion. 06, 07 and 2013. The rest of the years were pure garbage. Same song and dance every year.

*then

The win is good, of course, but rational fans look deeper and are concerned about maximizing our potential, which will mean a lot more when we play better teams on our schedule. Just saying "we won" and mindlessly being happy is too simplistic.

You think Auburn is happy that "they won" this week?

This is what is wrong with you people. Its either pure euphoria or complete misery for y'all. There is no reasonable thoughts with y'all.

I swear 90% of this board has to be women with how y'all let emotions rule your thoughts.

I feel the same.
I laugh when fans think a change of OC would make a difference.

Our first game of the season on the road in a hostile environment with a new qb.

You have to be delusional to think lsu was going to win by 50 points.

This was a huge win.
