"A guy like that, you expect him to be a stand-up guy but I guess it is a part of his game," safety Duke Williams (Bills) noted. "He likes to throw cheap shots here and there and gets away with it. I guess it's his thing."

Video shows him throwing a punch & muiltiple Bills players say he did the same thing to them

I do think he's been slightly cocky since joining the league

Looked like a punch to me. He is a lot more demonstrative after routine plays too. Needs to settle down or the bounty will be placed on him.

He is just tired of DBs keying in on him and taking cheap shots since preseason. I don't blame him. I guess thats what happens when you absolutely dominate secondaries as a rookie.

Saw it happen live... Kinda paused and was like "did OBJ throw a punch?" Had to rewind it to make sure, and yea he def threw a punch.

Wouldn't say that makes 1 a dirty player though. Happens every game.

OBJ might could tone it down a little though.

It all come full circle, he gets targeted just as much as he lashes out at defensive players. Build up of being young and getting frustrated with overly aggressive coverage. There was an interview with Cruz during the preseason that has him saying he noticed Jacksonville players going at OBJ. He needs to learn to keep a cooler head, these are the types of plays that go against skilled players like himself

This doesn't surprise me. I guarded him when we played newman in basketball and he was by far the cockiest player I've ever played against. Still beat that arse 33-32

Who knows what predicated that punch. It could have been retaliation to something that happened earlier in the game. At the end of the day, it's a football game. That crap happens 20 times the game. Maybe the bills defensive backs should just man up and quit crying to the media. Kind of a bitch move....obj punched me....wah

And? You're posting on TD on a Tuesday night in October, OBJ is raking in $$$ after his "I'm on the cover of Madden" rookie of the year NFL season in '14. Whose the now?

The phrase is "Heavy hangs the head that wears the crown." And it in no way applies here. The phrase means the king has a great burden of responsibility, so the crown is metaphorically heavy and weighs down his head. I can't for the life of me figure out how you think that applied here.

He clearly has an attitude, but nothing like Laron Landry. He's woofed since he was at LSU. Never liked his attitude.

While you are techinically correct I think he was using it loosely to say it's tough being the top dog cuz everyone wants to take you down.

I wouldn't call it "dirty." Out of line and against the rules sure, but dirty is an exaggeration and a lot of sour grapes by players getting a lot less attention. But speaking of dirty, I'd guess it wasn't just the hit that got OBJ upset - anyone else notice the Bills player drive his elbow into OBJ after his fall. No need for that and looked purposeful and dirty to me.
