Canada says he wants to tighten up the playbook. O comes to him and says while you doing that less get rid of some of the motion.

And we got fans that can't wait to make a deal of it it's sad.

Not really a big deal. Just consistent.

Is it too hard to believe that our head coach and our offensive coordinator both thought simplifying the offense was a good idea for now?

Only if it fits your stance. Yeah... Both coaches would have never thought the same thing while coaching the same team

Honestly the Matt Canada offense that we expected has never arrived at least not as advertised.

The creativity we expected is not there. Plays Canada previously ran have not bee there. The team that scored over 70 points v Syracuse last year is not there.

This begs the question as to what's going on. Has Canada been handicapped by O from day one, or has Canada been a bust and O is trying to help things out?

Either way it's not good. We are paying top dollar for a high powered OC and getting HS type coaching with coaches arguing amongst themselves.

It's a recipe for disaster.

I took it the other way. He stepped in, and the results were poor, so they went back to the regular offense after halftime.

Orgeron is proving to be a VERY poor communicator.

Any good coach and competitor never makes excuses. When our head coach is making them , this team is destined for failure. Unbelievable!

Moscona asked Orgeron what the discussion was between he and Canada regarding "simplifying" the offense and Orgeron's response was "I'm the head coach."

That doesn't sound like Canada was on the same page with him.
