def was some division amongst the offensive coaching staff, prob through the last 3-4 years, said they were all pulling against each other in different directions, now should be pulling in the same direction.

Interesting comment

Are we talking about Coach Hud style "pulling the rope?"

Reason why both Cam and Miles are gone. I wouldn't be surprised if BDP was removed from any defensive coaching because he was mole for Miles. Coach O is removing the cancer from touching his offense and defense. If BDP can't turn it around this week, I wouldn't be surprise he will be let go after Saturday.

It has been stated by people in the know that Coach Ensminger absolutely disagreed with the playcalling.

Probably why they fired Les/Cam. They pulled the coaches together and got the options. Miles didn't want to change and brought this on himself.

You have to realize that everyone of those assistant coaches know that they have no guarantees to be retained by a new head coach. If they loved it here at LSU, and if they have any bit of competitiveness in them, they wanted their team to succeed at the highest level. I'm 100% certain there was some division as to the direction of the offense.

He's there to keep the recruiting class in tact.

If we need to have 28 yard punts for that to happen, so be it.

Coach O gonna spread the boys out now. I have a gut feeling we will be winning more games now so the national media can shut the hell up about firing LSU's winningest coach

Shea reported the players are excited after what Steve told them about the offense. Said it's going to be tempo and more spread out.

Agreed. If he doesn't improve, fire him immediately after signing day

Ensminger is reportedly the coach who ripped into Cameron for not standing up to Miles.

I'm excited.

This offense and Harris/Etling all get a clean slate to me.

It will be nice to FINALLY see the man who understands his QB's strengths/weaknesses leading the offensive helm and not have to deal with Cameron anymore.

I'm pumped.

BDP is an overall negative to the program. His coaching is 50 times worse than his recruiting ability. You can get other guys to recruit who can also coach. He should also be gone.

That could explain some of the play on the field as well.
