He said that they didn't prepare them as well as they could have. This statement from a coach, I can't handle as a fan. What the hell did they do? Take them too lightly? If so, that's bullcrap.

That's Coachspeak 101 after a loss. Nothing shocking there.

It helps that it was also obviously the truth.

Does this really stump you? Seriously?

He's taking responsibility. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Putting the blame at the coaches feet rather than the players. What, you want him to blame it on the kids?

It was obvious by halftime we didn't have a good game plan on offense of defense. The penalties highlighted how unprepared we were overall. Just a shitty job. A month ago people thought Canada was the best hire ever. I watched practice and saw nothing that excites me. The skill players simply aren't there whether you like it or not. Arranda has shown signs of greatness but this defense is all on him. Orgeron is letting him do what he does and he failed Saturday. Terrible coaching job all around.

Happens all the time in football. Playing down to your opponent.

Reading TRant the week before the game it was sunshine, rainbows and unicorns...

"No way State is putting up 14 against Aranda's D"
"It's Moo State, why would anyone be nervous?"

Did Miles admit he didn't prepare the team after his big losses? He always said if we had completed that pass,....
