Noticing a trend

Im starting to notice that the people who are accusing others of being "nega-tigers" for criticizing our close game against auburn, are mostly the same people that were talking so much shite about how we were going to crush them prior to the game. I am also noticing this about people that are defending Mettenberger's less than glamorous performance thus far; they are mostly the same people that were referring to him as "Mett-savior" or at least giving him some major hype before the season.
My point being: if all this ranting is so miserable to ya'll, then how about being a little more realistic in your predictions. I've learned through the years that an overtime win in any SEC road game is a big win; and an "i'll believe it when i see it" attitude with LSU QBs will save you alot of stress. If you're going to overhype these things, then expect a meltdown when it doesn't pan out that way.
Now dont get me wrong, I don't put the blame solely on mettenberger for our obvious offensive struggles, nor do I think that we suck bc we played a close game against auburn.. But I do think that the rant would be alot less miserable, and we would all be alot less critical, if our expectations weren't set so unreasonably high.

They probably were strong believers in this team. Despite the outcome so far not being what they expected they still support the team and know they have the potential for greatness. Don't give up. The fat lady hasn't even stepped on stage yet.

For example?

Are you a savant, or just a weirdo that keeps a tracking spreadsheet on the opinions and posts of every retard on this board?
You aren't noticing shite and just needed some lame intro for your opinion.

I just want LSU to win. the rest.

I think LSU has the ability to win every game on the schedule, but not easily. Perfection is damn near impossible.
Some wins will be ugly this year IMO. People are too unrealistic about some games, the Auburn one was a good example because it had "disappointment" written all over it for the superfan. Folks who have been around for a while realize going LSU has a target on their back, and some teams are fighting for their lives, it's going to be a struggle this year.
