We're also 4-0 in true road games against tourney teams: Arky, WVU, Ole Miss, and UAB. We were also 12-5 against the RPI Top 100. And 5-3 against the RPI Top 50. Overall, we were 8-3 on the road this year.

For comparison purposes, last year we were 3-8 on the road. ETA: And 4-10 against the RPI Top 100.

And 8-20 against the RPI Top 100.

How on earth did we have that many losses on the season?

Posters will bring up our record against the sub 200 RPI teams. It doesn't matter though because those teams ain't in the tourney!

great numbers, and these are the reasons why LSU is #9 seed.

Imagine if LSU simply won just half the games that they were supposed to win. We'd be seeing our Tigers as a #6 or #7 seed.

That said, we couldn't have asked for a better draw.

N.C. State also got their arse beat by West Virgina a week after we beat WVU.

NC State Schedule

They have a few good wins: Duke, Louisville,UNC

This team really can beat anybody. They just have to show up.

Yeah, 8-20 isn't right. I got that from a web page that I can't find now. LSU and NC State are 2-2 against common opponents.

8-20 against RPI Top 100?

That is really horrible considering LSU only lost 14 games last year

Me too. Nova lives and dies off of its perimeter shooting. NC State looks like a tough but close matchup on paper. I am just thinking that LSU comes to play based on how we did against quality opponents and on the road this season. After that, I am gambling on Nova having a sub par day shooting from the field, which probably equates to a LSU win. I think we lose to Louisville, however.

With the love shown LSU by the committee,(seeded 35th of 68) they would probably have been a 5 or 6 seed if they had won maybe 4 of the 9 single-digit losses they sustained. Really can't blame those who are leery of backing the Tigers' and their inconsistencies. They are capable of winning or losing against every team in the Dance.

We were 4-10 last year against Top 100. I double counted. We tripled our win total v Top 100 teams this year.
