Not calling a TO with 30 sec left still has me angry!

Imo that was the only thing from last night that was totally inexcusable. 25 sec in CFB is a decent amount of time to get 40 yds.

LSU should have had a shot to tie the game. That was on Les and he really should be hammered on it.

it is a very long time when you have the nations all purpose yard leader returning kicks and two great wrs.

however the les fans don't see the point in the timeout because les had failed us 59 minutes and 30 seconds prior to that.

Not calling a timeout early enough in 09 and 2013 at Ole Miss are two of the dumbest end game coaching moves I've ever seen.

It's ridiculous that Miles told Mett to throw three pics, and that he made the defense give up all those third and longs.

miles is the one that said we werent prepared. id say not being prepared would be a big problem. either way les miles is the one that crushed our last and only hope at victory when it mattered. we fricked up but yet we still had that shot to save such a pitiful game and our coach watches the clock tick away and then after the game he regrets it.

There was no mention of it in today's Times Picayune. The beat reporters are either too stupid to know any better, or too chicken to criticize Les in print. Either way, it's a sad state of affairs.

There is NO excuse for failing to call the TO right after the 3rd down play. Even the most casual of observers last night knew better than our $4 million dollar Head Coach. That is hard for me to accept.

Yeah really. The other things were physical mistakes and inexperience and not really poor coaching. He screwed his team by not giving them a shot at the end of the game.

this part blows my mind.

the les apologists will say "yeah we should've never let it get to this point"....but you have to think of it as a 30-second game. by the grace of god, we tied the game so whatever happened the first 59 mins 30 seconds is water under the bridge. at that given moment, those 30 seconds means everything and the previous 59:30 was inconsequential.

Les had to have assumed Ole Miss was probably going to hit the field goal. it's pathetic how bad Les Miles didn't have to foresight to want to get the ball back with as much time as possible. it's like he's just a fricking spectator, removed from the situation.

every drunk fan in the bar was screaming timeout. our $4mil+ clown just sits there holds one finger in his ear, and talks without having any clue the time and the situation.

I haven't seen anyone defend this. If the clock management doesn't piss you off, it should.

It makes me very ANGRY!

I love Miles and am pro-Miles, but that flat out irritated me as well. There is no reason not to use your timeout there and at least give your team a chance and hope.

NONE. In college you get the benefit of ability to return a kick and clock stops on 1st* (sorry typing from phone).. and LSU was only down a FG at that point.

one good pass and LSU would have been in reasonable field goal range.

It's pretty ridiculous his team was embarrassed by a depleted lower tier SEC team. When everything falls apart, yeah..the coach didn't have his team prepared.

It's because Les clams up in pressure situations.
