They are already pulling down chain link and tearing up some of the sidewalk as of 9:45 this morning.

no its happening this offseason im pretty certain. i was just curious as to which month (like very soon on during the summer months).

as mentioned, they put up a chain link fence early this week around the area and are doing prep-work already

the north end will never be expanded. there isn't enough room for traffic. it would create too big of a pinch point on campus on game days and encroach on mike's habitat.

i know they wanted to make the area have more of a "courtyard" feel (like brick pavers and park benches). That may not be explaining it well. Also i thought at one point they actually wanted to close off north stadium drive and have the courtyard area extend basically to the pmac but they may have decided against that.
