At the box tonight during the rain delay I couldn't help but wonder ..

These sure would look good in Tiger Stadium, in the end zone. The cost could be made up in two years of tradition fees.

What say you ??

They take up too much space. It'd cut capacity in half.

Have you ever noticed the size of people in the south endzone? They aren't exactly petit...

Yes to most of those and I've been watching them since before you were born. I can easily cheer and make noise while sitting. Are you unable to sit and cheer and make noise? Are you always a d**khead? Without fans like us the $$ will dry up.

Then you couldn't distinguish between the ballers who rent seatbacks and the proles who don't.

Yea, I agree, LSU could easily do it.

Quote of Sev09 hey take up too much space. It'd cut capacity in half

It wouldn't cut the seating in half, thats just a wrong statement.

The South endzone added about 21,000 seats to TS. It would put a dent in that number, reducing it to around 16000 to 18500 depending on the size of the chair backs installed. That would be the issue LSU would face.

I think they should do it personally. It would look great and add more value to those seats.

They would never do anything to make it smaller. All you'd hear is "LSU can't fill their own stadium." It would just look bad. Having a 100K seat stadium is a big deal these days.

Why not something like this? I don't think you would have to lose any seating capacity and could probably could design it for cupholders.

there's already not enough leg room for people over 6 feet tall. this would made it way worse

Tiger Stadium may be the only venue in the SEC that still has tube TVs instead of flat screens. If we don't have the funds to replace those dinosaurs we won't have the money for rain protection

Fan experience needs to be the next huge investment in Tiger Stadium.

That'd be idea. Although, Legroom is already pretty tight in some areas. The seat backs would need to be high enough to where knees could poke through the gap in the back.

^^This^^

Is Terrrrible ... And I'm sure when they change to flat screens, they will make a BIG statement and group it with other mild improvements and want to UP the Tradition fee on the whole stadium.

In reality They can used 1 year of Tradition fees from only Section North 211 and buy Flat screen TVs for the whole stadium. And still have pocket change..

Well stated, I hate to say it, That's the M.O. for LSU.

And they will have a lot of pocket change to do more improvements.

The First 7 rows of section N211 = 170 seats

170 x 300 = $51,000

They have the money to get the job done !!

(and you can buy Samsung TV) Don't have to go on the cheap.
