Fire Alleva mid-season and hire Leslie back as AD?

It would be the perfect end for Alleva to be replaced with the man that he treated so poorly.

Besides, any decline or sky falling by LSU is solely on Alleva imo.

The thought of Miles being in charge of an athletic department makes me slightly nauseous.

He'd still find a way to meddle in the offense and get Peveto back

You have no idea who has reached out to miles and youre using that lack of knowing as proof that no one wants him.

It's like some of you dont realize the retreading that happens in cfb. Out side of the best coaches in the nfl(carroll and Belichick) and Nick saban, where are these covetted 63 year old head coaches?

The only reason he wouldnt get a big offer is because of age.

Lets change Miles age to 55.
Are you saying this rezume wpuldnt get him offers?

Averaged 10 wins for a decade in the hardest division in cfb.
Won a national title and played for another one.
He has 2 title game appearances in the last 10 years.
He has one of the best win % in sec history.
Even the supposed down years he had 3 10 win seasons and 4 top 16 finishes.
Now do any of you really believe he isnt getting major offers?

I read an article this morning pretty much saying that his age and lack of Offensive development are why he isnt hired yet.

but to your point about how do i know? i dont. I just want Alleva gone

So you want to put miles in an even bigger decision making role? What's wrong with you?

Agree with Rickdaddy. Let's please stop with the Miles bashing. He can still be a great representative for LSU even though he was justly replaced as head coach. We need a new, younger AD for LSU.

But Alleva really did shite on the man at the end. If only they had fired him last season like it was suppose to be. fricking dumb arse admins

It's not possible now, but my thought a year ago was to move Alleva and let Miles retire upwards to AD. I think he's been around long enough as a head coach to know how a successful athletic department should be run, and I imagine he has good connections.
Might have been a reason he and Alleva didn't get along.

If he becomes an AD somewhere, I doubt he meddles with his coach; he just would give insight on how to run a "damn strong" program.

We could go pick up a guy looking for work outside of Lowe's and he wouldn't be worse than what we have now. That bar is not exactly high.

Thats not how coaching works.
You have no clue what has been offering to miles.
