Fine. Don't root for the Tide. But the tightest game of the season came from LSU and many Bama fans respect LSU (at least we did in the past).

Also, God knows all of the Bama/Penis envy on this board. But in the end, many LSU faithful remind me of what they truly excel at - trash-talk.

How can any self respecting LSU fan continue to bash our new coach? Why can't we support the guy and see what happens? I think half this board wants him to fail so everyone can scream "I told you so". I can't believe our esteemed admin hasn't threatened to ban some of these "fans". FWIW, I hope Bama crushes the most classless coach in NCAA football.

It means a lot actually. Florida beats bama and they gain a recruiting bargaining chip. That DIRECTLY affects us. If bama wins, it's just another bama win. It's what they do.

That being said , go Bama. You gotta quit going with your heart and use your head.

Why do people act like one game causes such a rift in recruiting?

It's not one game really. It wouldn't matter if Bama wasn't involved. UF beating LSU didn't mean much. But when bama hasn't lost a game in almost 2 years, it carries a lot of weight, especially to in state kids who might want to bail on Florida.

1)McElwain will never be the recruiting threat that Saban is. Which coach poached 2 top linebacker commits from Louisiana this year, Moses and Allen, in our greatest position of need?

2)We have lost 6 in a row to one team while we beat the other team last season and were one yard away this season.

3)If you chose Yellow Teeth its because he hurt your feelings. You're letting your emotions cloud your rational and throwing all logic out of the window. Both coaches are little bitches. McElwain is the guy that tells you he hates you to your face. Saban is the quiet, measured neighbor with the perfect yard who is secretly fricking your wife behind your back, but always waves when you pull up in your drive way. Saban is just playing chess, but his actions are more detrimental to the LSU brand than Fat Luke Skywalkers words.
