If I was you, I would just bite the bullet and take him to Alabama. It is assured to be an amazing atmosphere even if (god forbid) we have two losses by then (see 2014). CBS gets one night game a year and they pick the week that it'll happen in advance during the summer (which means in reality they pick the week based on which one has the biggest game at the beginning of the season even if the official pairings aren't actually released until two weeks before) and they have picked November 5th for that night game. LSU and Alabama have been picked for that slot for 5 years in a row and this year it will be 6.

LINK to the CBS season schedule.

They were day games but it was dark by the start of the 4th quarter, so they had a real "night game" atmosphere (particularly the 2012 game).

CBS loves to air this game if both teams are even decent. It has historical context and older folks do remember.

The SEC has seemed to feed it to CBS as well, it's usually the "main" SEC game of the week it's scheduled, even with A&M/Bama being this year I think CBS goes OM/LSU

unless there is some crazy no national tv probation OM gets

I think it's possible this may be the year CBS chooses a different night game if Tennessee and Bama are both undefeated at the time they have to make a decision
They cant choose that game. CBS has already announced that the week of November 5th is their doubleheader week: LINK

quote:

Nov. 5: Notre Dame vs. Navy (11:30 a.m.), SEC doubleheader (3:30 p.m., 8 p.m.)
So they can choose between LSU/BAMA, uf/arky, uga/uk, Mizzou/Carolina, Vandy/AU, State/A&M

So I am fairly certain it will be LSU/Bama

Just choose LSU/Bama game. He'll never forget that game and neither will you. There won't be an atmosphere in sports better than that night

2:30PM, count on it.

Trust me, if it's not at 2:30PM, you won't be interesting in going anyway, as it will mean that something catastrophic would have happened to our season.
