I used to be an SEC guy all the way, 100%. It didn't matter who the other SEC teams were playing, if it was out of conference, I pulled for them.

I was ridiculed heavily on this board for pulling for Utah vs Alabama in the 2009 sugar bowl. I never pull for the sec, just LSU.

At the end of the 2007 National Championship game, LSU fans started chanting "SEC, SEC, SEC!". I was so proud of the camaraderie.
A lot of other schools chant their team.
We were the ones touting the SEC and this is how we get paid back.

I had an Arkansas fan (around 48 years old) try to fight me in 2010 when I was cheering for Oregon against Auburn.
Last time I went to Sykos Daiquiri's in Coyell. Letting those kind of people in there, not suprised ownership changed hands.

I've never done that stupid chaMt. I'm an LSU fan. I only cheer for them. As far as the other 13 schools go, frick em. I hope they lose every bowl game they play

Since there is some variation in geographic requirements to join many conferences, what say we shoot for Mountain West.
Too bad we'll have missed out on playing on the Boise blue turf though.

Bottom line is that during the BCS era, it helped when the overall conference record was strong. The playoff has helped to eliminate much of that. However, after the way the SEC has handled this, I'm done with them.
