Nick does nothing and says nothing unless it is to make his chances for success better. You have to admire his dedication to "the process."

So Nick doesn't want Kiffin coaching at another SEC school. What's the solution? Proclaim publicly how Lane is ready to be a head coach again. And since the SEC has no openings at this point (Nick didn't say this a week ago, did he?), where will Lane go? Lane's ego, already not small, has got to be puffed up even bigger, so much so that another OC stop won't do.

You have to admire Nick, you really do.

We shall see if Kiffin gets the gig at UH. He is not the odds on favorite. If he does there are plenty of other options - good ones - for OC. I personally think we need to throw he bank at Lincoln Riley and let Kiffin drop off the radar.

Art Briles needs the job asap. I wouldn't wait another second. Anyone who can do what he did at Baylor would have our talent dominating.

What is clever about it? Pushing UH to hire Kiffin seems desperate.

Ha, is this the new flavor of the week pick? It's not happening. Better chance Briles gets offered back than Kiffin. Lane will get a bigger gig than UH, and I like UH.

Literally any coach will say the same about their coordinators if asked

Ask Orgeron tommorow if he thinks Aranda is ready to be a HC, and he'll say yes.

This is not some long con. Saban is just answering in the only Way to answer that question

ANYONE who believes that Kiffen has a chance of landing at LSU is delusional. LSU would be a latteral
move and LK next stop is obviously a head job despite what some LSU fans talk themselves into.

So don't give Saban any credit for stating what is obvious to everyone in the country, except for a few.

Excuse me moving from a perennial top tier program to mediocre (at best) LSU would not be a lateral move

What is he supposed to say? Is he going to say that the OC he's relying on to complete his championship run isn't ready? Is he supposed to pan Kiffin in the media and then meet up with him afterward and say "hey buddy...tell me about your game plan for this weekend?"

Nick Saban is too busy playing for titles to concern himself with screwing a program that's done for the season.

Beating Les and taking the LA recruits he wanted from the great Les Miles was indeed screwing LSU. Ed needs to stop all that nonsense.

Nick saban can't screw LSU nearly as much as Joe Alleva does.

It's so nice to hear someone agree with me. I just can't stand to think of Kiffin wearing purple and gold. He's a complete douchebag
