Secondary is playing much better with leaders appearing. D line cannot get any worse and LBs are beginning to improve as well. (Yes, even Welter). The defense as a unit will play much better next year. This was a year of growing pains.

QB will be a drop off for sure, how can it not be? But AJ10 is showing plenty of promise. WR will still be a concern until clear leaders emerge but I think we'll be a different type of offense to make up for it. O-line and RB will be stellar again.

Not an NC year but a good season leading up to a serious run in 2015. Not nearly as bad as previously advertised by many on this board.

Still to early- let's wait to see who stays first-the D Line is still a major concern- you could lose none, but then anywhere from 1-3 lineman.

If both Johnson and Ferguson leave we are done !
We will have to go juco!
Ego is gone he's a high second but Johnson is projected as a low third and could greatly benefit by returning.

We have no real replacements none of the recruits realy panned out!

They both ran out with the seniors yesterday si I'm pretty sure they are both done. If this season is typical of their ability both will be short lived in the NFL

how can you tell? He looked composed against a really bad team yesterday. That's all we have to go on. 10 passes ever.

Wisconsin, @Auburn, and Bama will be tough, but I feel good about the schedule otherwise. The wheels are falling off at Florida and aTm is losing their two stars. Ole Miss at home.

Here's my opinion:
QB-not as good.
RB-same (if LF comes)
WR-not as good.
TE-same
OL-same
Offense-overall not as good. Developing a replacement for Beckham's big play ability is key. More importantly Landry's clutch catches must be replaced. He singlehandedly kept a lot of drives alive. The OL should be improve. Magee can be every bit as good as 33 was this year. The difference will be what LF can do to complement him.
DT-same
DE-should be better
LB-should be better
Db-should be better
D-all success depends on the DL. LB's and DB's this year had so much trouble because the DL was so bad. Next year the improvement to the middle and back of the d again depends on the dl.

Lol. What? The true freshmen didn't "pan out"? Well by all means we should rid our roster of these filthy freshmen losers.

Its the Rant dude. He had a good drive against the worst team in the SEC. People are already printing their AJ4Heisman shirts for next season.

If Bain and Herron had been any good they Would have played we needed depth! Neither saw the field . Not once !

Johnson is making a big mistake IMHO he would make a whole lot more money if he comes back for the 2015 draft.
He is projected to go late in the 3rd.

Win our bowl game or not, this off season vibe will be much better than some recently.

Good times ahead.

Whatever we have next year the QB position will be better than the Jefferson/Lee combo. It most likely will not be better passing than Mett but perhaps the added mobility will make up for at least a little of that.

WR is the thing I'm most concerned about on offense and I hope we have someone step up or can land a big time recruit. What happened to Q. Leslie? Is he a senior next year or did he just redshirt? If he just burned a year this year then I don't think we can expect anything from him.

I think we'll be fine at DL. Someone out of Heron, Bowers, Bain, Gilmore, and LaCoutoure will pan out. We'll also have QT, Neal and Patterson who should all at least be serviceable. We'll also have Rasco, Allen and Hunter back. That's a lot of guys. It is asking a lot for true FR to play in the trenches.

We should be fine at OL, better at LB and really good at DB. WI will be tough to start the year. If we win that game I predict 1 or 2 losses tops.

we brought in 3 last year who have not even gotten a chance to not pan out, but Lacouture looks solid, and will only get better.

I also expect Herron to move inside

I wish I were as optimistic as you are. I think LSU is about to go into major development mode for the next couple of seasons. Just too much attrition in recent years.

Concur.

IMHO, the secondary is growing up and playing much better.
