2. Florida (6-0)

Florida is unbeaten, it beat Ole Miss, who beat Alabama. Alabama is probably the strongest one-loss team in college football, and is probably the best team in the country, but that’s a guess. However, the Gators have done enough with road wins over Missouri and Kentucky, and, again, that Ole Miss win is still the big piece in the puzzle.

LSU #9

9. LSU (5-0)

This is probably the biggest guess on the block considering beating Auburn and South Carolina is nothing but a brand name filler, and the win over Mississippi State came on a missed kick. Beating Syracuse and Eastern Michigan – and struggling a bit – doesn’t help. The bigger games are coming soon.

Florida is about to get punched in the mouth for the first time all year in a hostile road environment.

Our wins mean less than Bama's loss. Gotta love it.

CFN is full of it. Questions LSU wins but puts ole miss at #3 because they beat Alabama #4 who only beat a bad Georgia team. Their rationale is bogus. So when we beat Florida next week are we going to get credit or is it more of the same. "Florida wasn't that good and over ranked so that win doesn't count ether"

Wait, what? I thought we were talking about how well Florida is doing, but instead you take a chance to blow bama!? Media is a joke

No respect - they are just stoking the fire.

Bama looked awful yesterday and Coker is not good. Even my Bama friends see this. They are no where near the best team in college football. But keep pumping them up and claiming they are the best, it will make the fall so much sweeter when we kick their arse.

People will bitch and complain, but they do have a point. LSU has proven it has a good team. It is yet to be determined whether they can be great. Before the season wethought being undefeated at this point of the season would give us a really strong resume. Turns out Auburn and South Carolina suck this year, and we still don't have a marquee win yet. That is not our fault, it's just the way it worked out.

That being said, that will all change staring this week. We are about to see what this team is really all about. After the next few weeks, pundits will not be able to say "we don't know how good LSU is yet". We will know....for better or for worse.

Can't wait To hear the excuses a week from
Today after we beat that arse. This entire week will feel like eternity because I can guarantee that our boys are hearing the buzz. They keep winning yet keep getting shite on. We'll see what the talking heads have to say once we hang an L on the gators schedule

So did I. Their OL sucks. Their QB sucks. Henry is way overrated. They have a great front 7 and an improved secondary, but they have a terrible offense. How anyone can say that they are the best team is laughable.

So we're guessing the transitive property means they're awesome.

I think you already know the answer.

If Bama beats A&M, regardless of how, it will just prove that they were right.

If A&M wins, Bama will be "the greatest 2 loss team of all time."

If LSU wins, "Florida still isn't quite there yet."

If LSU loses, "It was only a matter of time. Should drop outside the top 10."

You just have to laugh at this shite.

This is false. Bama is indeed among the best in football. You're deluding yourself if you believe otherwise. Bama is talented at every position. They are well coached. And they - almost alone in college football - are well drilled in every facet of the game.

However, this year Bama has no play-maker on offense. Their secondary has been a mess, but they'll probably have that ironed out by the time they play us. Their QB is competent, but does nothing extremely well.

If LSU continues to improve I think we have an excellent shot at beating Bama. As others have said, Harris' scrambling is the key to beating that team. We can maul every other team we face with the run game.
