Today's Tupelo paper reveals new Ole Miss campus parking rules that change LSU visitor's parking. New Rule-no parking on the sidewalks on campus or it could be towed off. Shuttle service[for $5] will be provided. All public type buildings in and closer to Oxford will become parking areas, with a shuttle. Campus parking will not be for visiting teams fans as before, but for students and contributors only. This is a big change, I always parked on the sidewalks by the western trees just off the 4 lane, you can not anymore. No sidewalk parking. I hope we get this out to LSU fans or we'll have a nightmare when your car gets towed off. They do not like LSU and you'll find out. I will follow this parking change for earlier games and see what makes the newspapers and sites. I'll mail this article to LSU, and fan groups to get the word out, even to the Advocate.

Place was dead last time we were there.

Unless there is more to it than the quote indicates, that is very different from LSU.

i doubt too many visiting fans pay $40 to park on campus. so not really all that different.

They just fired Houston nutt, it was worse ole miss game I've ever been to and I've to Oxford evry year since booty and Saban were here.
It was absolutely dead.

The end result may be the same but visiting fans can park on LSU's campus for free or pay $40 to park on campus if they choose to do so.

If those options aren't available at ole miss then yes, it is very different.

But you can still find plenty of places to park on LSU's campus without paying.

I didn't have that experience at all, but OK. Grove was rocking all day long up until kickoff. I do think this year will be much better.

just the outskirts. the end result is basically the same. visitors dont park on campus.

thus the statement "not too different from lsu" is correct.

We parked in a lot by the main road when you first turn in right by frat houses. No problems at all getting in/out.

ill take a stab that you are talking about lsu and not ole miss, and the street you are talking about is dalrymple. so im guess you mean like the law school parking lot or u high parking lot.

eta: nevermind i see now you are talking about ole miss, sorry carry on.

Doesn't effect me. I have been to Oxford twice 2000 & 2003 and I will never return to that place ever. Biggest self loving elitest a-hole on the planet.

Ole Miss, my one and only trip there. Thought we were going to have some shite walking back when approached by two drunk Ole Miss Fratstars. They just came up and told us Ole Miss sucked and LSU destroyed them yet again. Shook hands and kept walking.

A little more on the article. It said 800 sidewalk parking cars will be stopped. Also, tailgating will be at 250 spots arranged in advance and starting at 8:00am by campus police.
