It's like we didn't even play yesterday. In a way, it's true. We didn't show up. This apathy fans are feeling is unprecedented.

I feel the same way. I barely watched while working around the house. I just knew it wouldn't be worth my time.

Sorry, but think back to the 90's. It was much worse 1992-1994.

As for today, I paraphrase the Chinese proverb, We live in interesting times. The program is at a crossroads and it will be interesting to see in which direction it moves.

Eh, the game went about like I figured it would. Don't remember my prediction but I think I had Ole Miss winning by 14 or more.

You obviously weren't around during the Spurrier/Florida days.

I had Ole Miss by 7 but I expected a stronger performance. Not the surrender I saw.

And got our arse kicked...it was an uninspired, milquetoast performance all around. SVT is far from a puss....he's realistic and he's been around here a long time. Pump your bs elsewhere.

It's like a funeral for Miles yesterday

I couldn't watch it...

The spirit is, he all done now...We love coach miles and we also are so ready for fresh energy and changes.

And that day has finally come

Not since 1966 has LSU dropped 3 straight in double digit in each.

49 years! I was born in 1966....I am like wow...

now it makes sense why everyone is done with Miles

The numb feeling is that you know you are watching the end of the Les Miles era. Love him, hate him, praise him, blame him, it doesn't matter. We all see that the end is here, and that's nothing to be giddy about.

Thanks doc. I understand losing but giving up is just not what we do at LSU. It's not just a football thing, it's a part of who we are. LSU has lost plenty of games where I've walked away proud. Yesterday, I felt nothing.

Agreed...I've never seen an LSU team look so completely defeated emotion-wise. And I understand the feeling nothing. I was watching the game in our bonus room, my wife was on the phone with her mom in BTR and I heard her say "I think I heard him yelling at the TV". I walked in on her and said, "You didn't hear me. I haven't said shite to the TV. ". By the end of the game there was not point. As some have already said, there was a funeral feel to it all. We'll see what this week holds

I love how we continuously "aren't showing up to play."

We got beat by the better team the last three weeks. Period. That's not a defense of Miles. If we aren't as good as we thought, that's a direct reflection on him.

But all you people using the motivation argument are foolish. Surely we have lost confidence, and that may be a big part of it, but that's not the same as not being up for a game.
