I will be getting a call this week about first time season tickets. For the East Sideline, what's the view like below row 4? Can you even see over the players to watch the game? Here's what's available:

East Sideline – a limited number of pairs of seats below row 4; single seats only above row 4

North and South Endzone – a limited number of single seats only

East and West Upper Deck Chairbacks – a limited number of single seats only

West Upper Deck Benchbacks – a limited number of pairs of seats in section 617

East Upper Deck Benches – multiple seating options

You'll be watching the jumbotron from row 4 95% of the time.

Endzones are your best options if you prefer that view.

From my personal experience, my favorite place in the stadium is the east upper because you get a great sideline view and clusters of visiting fans mixed in with LSU fans. Makes things more fun.

Get North or West tickets (singles, pairs--don't matter but make sure in the same gate). Then go sit in the student section. It's a lot more fun whether you are 25 or 45. Nobody's gonna bitch at you to sit down. You can hear the band. You can participate in those stupid arse dances whithout the blue-hair, blue-blood crowd looking at you like you're an idiot, etc.

Then, when you are eligible for an upgrade in 30 years, you can get two together in a lower part of the West or East Upper.

Row 4 is kinda low, which is probably why they're available, about the first 5 rows usually end up having to stand to see. Also, Keep in mind that with most games being day games these days the east side is in the sun most of the time.

North End Zone. Walk to end of student section. Sit where ever you want. Then upgrade to seats together when you get that chance

My tickets are on the second row east side. I love it. I've sat all over Tiger Stadium and it's by far my favorite. You do have to stand the entire game, but I do that wherever I sit, and down there you don't have people bitching and telling you to sit down. You get to frick with the opposing team and all the sound funnels down to the field.

Of the options that you mention, I would take singles in the WU chair backs...I really don't like the sun in my face and it is always at your back in the WU....and you can see every inch of the field...

I agree, and would get those west uppers! I moved this year from the east to the west upper. I was just tired of the afternoon sun in my eyes for all those games moved to daytime. It is more distracting than you would think, and I love the sun!

In E 306 row 7 on the 5yl; whenever play is between the GL and about 40yl it's like being in the game! Beyond that can't see much with players in the way so it depends, if outside the 20's will be similar if that's what you like. If between the 40's as they all say you will have to stand and watch jumbotron mostly.Good luck!

Anything below row 10 in lower bowl isn't worth the price of admission. Watch at home. If its upper vs endzone it's purely a preference. I prefer endzone over high sidelines.
