I've trained my brain to automatically filter out keywords like pitching, Poche, CWS, Omaha and Mainieri.

you know, i was thinking tbe exact same thing bout bball & football during baseball season...

Yeah it is frustrating that all the baseball threads take up all the space when it's Spring practice. Of course I just don't care for baseball, but I respect the fact that many do and it takes great talent to accomplish what LSU has collectively achieved. My sincerest hope is that the Tigers win it all in Omaha, but I might not watch. Because of this, I acknowledge that it is clearly baseball season and folks are entitled to rant about baseball now.

So if you don't convince Chicken to add a football or baseball board, you have to scroll. In scrolling you still pick up enough about baseball (that and Dandy Don's soliloquies about same) to have intelligent conversations about the topic should it come up in conversation. The more you know.
