Near perfect demonstration of the best traits of LSU football under Miles

LINK /

Sportsillustrated writers were clearly impressed with LSU's win, this line states the obvious. "A near perfect demonstration of the best traits of LSU football under Les Miles."

This to me is the most impressive win of the Les Miles era. LSU and Les Miles silenced the best passing offense in all of college football and did so with one of the youngest defenses in college football. An Aggie offense that must have set a record for having destroyed many great college defenses over the past two years including Bama's twice was almost completely silenced by a very young group of LSU freshmen and sophomores.
Most impressive win by Les Miles, you betcha, when considering the teams and circumstances.

That was impressive last night. I think that is what makes LSU football under Les so frustrating. You see how good they could be and all the talent yet they always lay a few eggs every year.

The people that whine about Les and call for a job change are the same idiots that day trade with their retirement portfolio.

Yep. Bunch of penalties. Game management. 4th and 1 go up middle. I now believe the management is on position coaches instead of miles.

There were miscues on the offense side of the ball, gotta believe offensive coordinator Cam will eventually get that cleaned up. Its was just his first year, moron, lets see next year.

The dominance of LSU's young defense over Johnny Football is the most surprising college story of 2013, simply because in a two year span none of the other talented and experienced defenses ever came that close to shutting him out completely. Bama could play him ten times and would not achieve what LSU did.

Don't know what run/pass ratio was last night but it seemed almost perfect. Excellent performance by LSU (penalties aside).

IYAM these young players just took a while to get acclimated, and I suspect there were some nagging injuries among some of our guys. Only playing two games in games in four weeks probably helped with both. By the time bowl season rolls around, we'll be a team nobody wants to play.

Offensive gameplan was amazing. Eat clock and make A&M feel like they have to score fast. Couple that with a defense with something to prove and you have success.

We had good timely blitzing to put Johnny on the run and the line and LBs contained better than ever. Two freshman CBs locking down two of the best receivers in the league. Just so impressed.

This reflects the views of most Tiger fans...well put.
I just hope what we have experienced this year on defense is not what we will have next year on offense.

Really enjoyed the little wrinkle of standing around looking confused in the huddle, then hustling up to the line and snapping the ball before the Aggies were ready. It worked several times.

Cams going to stay here a while, which is great because he'll bring a lot to LSU's offense, like this. Can't wait for next year.

If Copeland wouldn't have fumbled, this same LSU team might have showed up at Bama. It's amazing what ZEROOOOOOO turnovers do huh? They make a coach look brilliant.

The win was good, but LSU wasn't beating Bama this season. Had LSU scored on that first drive, Bama would have just scored another TD.

Easily. As bad as the defense has been at times, they put together a great gameplan vs two of the best football players in the country. I'll say that was Miles and Co. best job, ever.
