National Seed

Let's say we sweep Florida or at worst get 2 out of 3. I know it will be tough. And we don't go 0-2 at SEC. Could we land a national seed? We will be over 40 wins and 19-11 or 20-10 in SEC. What do you say?

It's possible, not Probable, it would help if state or piss started losing some, vandy needs to lose some too

A sweep plus a deep run in the tournament might get us there. Anything less and I doubt it.

They probably have to win the Florida series and the SEC tournament. This season was a lot like 2014 who got hot and got an unexpected national seed. LSU lost 4 SEC series which will hurt them in a national seed conversation. The SEC is packed at the top and it's propbably they get 4 national seeds. Florida and A&M are locks. LSU needs something to stand out from South Carolina, Mississippi State, and Mississippi and LSU lost a series to two of those.

If we win the west by sweeping(I know, I know) Florida and reach 20-10 and Ole Miss and A&M only get to 19 wins, could we slide in?

But only 1.5 out of 1st. Yeah they're 6th but that's the glass half empty way of looking at it. It'll be an interesting SEC tournament if LSU wins the Florida series.

Need A&M to win today and take 2/3 from ole miss next week. Along with a series win against Florida and at least making the SEC tourney final, we'd have a shot.

I understand that, but we aren't playing the games. As fans, it is fun to talk about the different scenarios.
