In case someone wants to put together a "what's there to do in Nashville," feel free to paste the following in that thread.

Here's my list of restaurants that are received favorably on the F & D board. Some I have eaten and some I haven't. This should help get those that are traveling started.

What about hotels. I would like one very close to the stadium.

I'm staying at the Hilton downtown. Recently renovated and plenty of options around the hotel.

Last time I was in Nashville I had to wheel barreled out after destroying 8 lbs of goat, pig, cow and chicken meat and a couple gallons of wine at some downtown Brazilian steakhouse.

Can't remember the name, it was good stuff though.

Been several times Nashville, no complaints... Good town.

If I weren't committed financially and emotionally to my current place, I'd move to Nashville tomorrow.

Depending on when you arrive, rooms will average about $250.00 per night.

A less expensive option will be the Hilton Garden Inn near Vanderbilt. About $150.00 per night. But keep in mind your location.

Omni is a great hotel in Nashville. Same goes for the Gaylord. Hilton downtown is right up there too.

For those that are wanting a great steak, check out Kayne. Prices are as high as a giraffe's .... however the scenery at the bar and in the restaurant are top notch.

Is there a Marriott in close proximity to the stadium and attractions?

I have points to burn.

Arnold's is a great meat-and-three (get there early), and I eat at a couple of midtown joints pretty regularly: Hattie B's Hot Chicken and Two Boots Pizza.

Pancake Pantry is a local legend, but I don't get it. Wait in line for pancakes? No thanks...

Loveless is out-damn-standing for both. Just not convenient. Those biscuits, doh...

If you want a meat/3 with little to no wait, Swett's is a good option. The airport even has one.
