I can name 20 coaches without effort that could have this LSU team reach 8 wins. This is a terrible SEC and you have 4 wins built in against shite competition.

You have this wrong. At Ole Miss he micromanaged which was his main mistake.
Now hes hands off and making all new mistakes.

Which shouldn't have taken getting a bad coach to figure out.
How many top programs have we seen ruined by a bad hire? Why people thought LSU was immune to that is beyond me. Whether people want to admit it or not, Les Miles did have some coaching talent to keep LSU where it's been for as long as he did, talent that Orgeron doesn't have and never has had.

B/S. They have much better coaches than LSU. Saban, Meyers, Dabo, and other GOOD coaches stay dominant using the same talent evaluation that LSU uses. LSU has O. That explains everything.

You guys are missing his point. Well Rick mentioned it at least. Coaching matters. You or i could not step into Alabama and win with their current roster We get too caught up in zero sum thinking coaches are either great or they suck. We let our simplistic view that you either win a title or you fail. We don't understand or like nuances. Lost in all the blizzard of Miles hate people are gonna realize the school doesn't just recruit it self, you can't just roll anyone out there and win with our talent.
