My Two Cents

This has been and continues to be such a special year. I, like all Tiger fans, have really enjoyed this season and I look forward to several more weeks of bliss.

I am also of the same mindset as many, as I think Bama has played no other team like LSU. I have always heard and believe that the one thing that makes a difference is speed. And LSU has it, everywhere.....at defensive end for God's sake. I have enjoyed the running backs, all of them. Ware is a beast, Ford provides speed, Blue fresh legs and then we get a dose of Hilliard against Auburn. And what about the fullbacks? Is Odell Beckham a stud or what? It's good to see Ruben Randle finally get what so many great wide recievers have missed out on the last few years. And the D. What were we going to do without Nevis, Kelvin Sheppard and PP7? The Honey Badger?! Wow! How 'bout that kicking game? Special teams? I should calm down.

But I have to tell you, I had a dream last year about our boy Jarrett Lee. Long before Shades, after watching his play last year in those critical games against Tennessee, Florida and Alabama, after all that he went through and the negative he took from so many AND LSU fans alike, he stuck it out and stayed at LSU. And then came Shades. And we start with playing #3 Oregon and get the victory. And the games that followed. And my dream becoming a reality. It is so surreal. I like this kid. He has character. He has heart. And he loves LSU. It is such a pleasure to see him doing so well. It touches me.

I believe we get victory tomorrow. Too many playmakers and too much talent across the board. What a year. Ya gotta love it.
