1.Game plan was good we were in position to win, but offense let team down.
2.People expect Mett to have Cam type numbers. May ten more years till we see another Cam. He's a first year starter in SEC.
3.We have issues at wideout. They are avg in height and can't catch.
4.We are loaded with power backs, that have little patience.
5. We have serious injury issues. If you take the five best players, at their position, off any top ten team chances are that team won't be top ten.
6.We don't have a play maker in the secondary. This a rare thing at LSU I can't even remember the last time.
7.LSU lost to a top ten team at one of the best stadiums in the country.

With all the things I still have hope and still believe this team will be of top five quality by the end of the year.

Our secondary is not an issue, at all.

Jackass, I was addressing the OP pint that we have no players in the secondary.

I know the defense is fine

1.Game plan was good

I stopped reading right here.

I'm kidding, but seriously, I agree with basically everything else that you said, but our game plan was not very good. It was an excellent game plan on D. Of course, having players that are talented and that are executing at a high level make it look excellent. But they blitzed, gave different looks, etc., to a QB without a ton of experience. It was great on that side of the ball.

But offensively, we keep doing the same things that aren't looking good week to week and are easy to defend against. Straight up hand-offs, worthless straight tosses to the RBs and straight -up passes. When we get inside the 10, our play calling makes little sense. You just need a few yards for the big score and we have nothing that really makes the defense think. The play that was going to be a jump pass was obvious after taking two timeouts.

Florida's offense was not working at all in the 1st half. But they kept trying different looks and giving us different fakes. This combined with our offense doing nothing eventually had our D on its heels a little. Still, our D played excellent. We should win when we hold UF to 14 at home.

Your game plan should have different spots where you try different looks and use different players to throw the D off and hopefully make some plays. Having one way to win and sticking with it no matter what usually only works when you are superior in talent.

Maybe we aren't that good of a running team as everyone thinks we are.

Secondary is good, but I said play makers. Are you thinking we should put one of these guys on kick returns or punt returns? Ford our kick returner lol. Have we witnessed any of them make a omg play yet?
Game plan: first half I liked it for sure. Wing kinda let us down, so field position suck. We ran the ball on first a lot, but I agree with it due to fiels position. You would have thought we could have broke one for ten or twenty at least once. Biggest problem was the drops by backs and receivers. We never could get Mett comfortable. Biggest stretch to me was early on Mett was looking good. Then Boone has a drop, cope land has a drop, then Mett floats one. Think Mett lost his composure for a while after that. Overall I can accept the game plan. Inside the ten yard line it's a nightmare for us though.
