My take on the season after this loss...

Moving forward, I think we showed that WE CAN play with anybody. We hung neck and neck with the #1 team in the country until the very end, and could have won. This team when focused can win, we have a hill to climb but if we can get over this loss and keep winning SEC games, we can be a threat to finish the season, and perhaps make an SEC Tourney run. Im optimistic heading down the stretch. I believe this team is getting it together and can be very good.
Just stay behind them brothers, I think we can be in for something special down the stretch...

if/when we get in and win a game, no top-3 seed is gonna want to play us in the second (or third) round

I mean I always knew we can play with anyone, when we are motivated and have something to prove, we can play with anyone. The issue is consistency, we play to the level of our competition for better or for worse.
Still proud of how we played today. Give OU credit, great teams find a way to win

Actually I can't wait for the tournament because tonight showed that we are going to be the low seed that crushes a top seed's dreams.
But go ahead and keep being a dumbfrick.

I'm glad you and Camp are back. frick this noise of terrible posters.
LSU stands nowhere different than they did at 3:59pm today except we showed we can play with the best team in the country.
I guess it's time to cut Simmons and fire CJJ. Dicktards.

I tend to stay far away from TD after losses, but there is too much nonsense around. Camp said this a while ago and it's true: A majority of this fan base enjoys watching LSU lose so they can bash players and coaches.

I disagree with you. I think we do stand differently tonight. While not as good as a win I think tonight helped our tourney chances.

Moral victories. Print the shirts.

So you are one of those people that expect LSU to win everyone single game? When was the last time that happened in college basketball?
It's basketball, you learn about your team win or lose. Dumbass

and i think you need to quit smoking crack...
you need to realize that these "almost won" games don't actually count in the W column... and when the committee breaks down everyone's resumes, they aren't gonna sit there and say "well, they almost won this one"... fact is, we didn't.... we gave up a 14 point lead, on our home court, with the crowd in our favor, on national TV.....

You need to quit acting like you're on the committee. Tonight did not hurt us. It helped our RPI a tad. Could have helped a TON. But the sec games are still more important

What the does this have to do with the price of chicken in China? So the committee doesn't take into account that we almost won, BUT they take into account that this game was on national TV?

You need to realize how basketball works. Literally look it up
Also look up selection methodology and get back to me. RPI too.
I can't wait

Yea we hung with and should have beat OU, but that is how JJ teams have always been. I guarantee you they will lose focus and lose to Mizzou, Auburn or Mississippi State just like last year and the years before.

I only meant it in relation to the "it's all over now" crowd.
