So I was just sitting here thinking how could this whole coaching situation be salvaged. This is all tongue in cheek. Say that Les and TAF,boosters and the powers that be come to this agreement....Les will coach next year which supposedly is our best chance at a natty for the near future. He will get to see LF7 finish his career and maybe get a Heisman. At the end of the season he announces he is retiring from coaching. At this time LSU tells Aleva bye and and names Les the AD. LSU redeems itself somewhat the fans are happy that Les is still around and we get new blood on the sideline.

Tom Herman should be our Head Coach in 2016.

I knew Joe Alleva and Co. were too chicken shite to pull it off.

I knew last week when the sky was falling Les would be back on the sidelines in 2016 with the same tired arse toss dives that sent us into mediocrity.

Yes, we should really put a man with a bad football philosophy and who has made crappy OC hires in charge of all Tiger athletics. That's a great desire right there, I tell you.

Why in the hell would anyone think Slingblade is qualified to be AD?

Put Miles at AD and he'd probably force any coach under him to run his offense.

You have seen Les's last few hires. You really want him hiring head coaches ?

I definitely wouldn't mind Les raising money for the school.

People apparently love the shite out of him, and he does have an economics degree from Michigan. that isn't exactly toilet paper.

Barry Alvarez 2.0 all over again. Next coach quits after 2 bad seasons, Les fills in and wins a bowl game after being in retirement from coaching

I love Les, but there's no way he should be LSU's AD after he's done coaching.

As much as I love Les I tend to agree with you on this. But I would totally want him working with LSU in some capacity. Fund raising for TAF, or some figure head in the AD's office of course his Saturdays would need to be free because he will take Courso's chair on gameday. He is just too perfect for that job for it not to happen.
