My .02 on Brandon Harris

I went back and watched the game last night and had a few things i noticed.
1.) The offensive line absolutely shite the bed, there were multiple times that Wisconsin had players in the backfield that were untouched.
2.) Brandon Harris needs to play like an athlete. I thought his footwork look 10x better in the pocket than it did last year. But, at the end of the day the kid is an athlete not a pocket passer. He needs to utilize that skillset better and tuck it away and run.
3.) It is simple to say that Harris struggles with accuracy, he missed a few guys that were open down field. I think this could be more of a confidence issue than a talent issue. Like most say, i think it struggles with the "it" factor.
4.) Miles and company did an awful job at drawing up plays to put Harris in successful opportunities.
At the end of the day, i think any QB that would have been playing for the purple and gold on Saturday would of had a piss poor game. I still think Brandon Harris is our best option but the coaching staff needs to utilize him as an athlete and not a true pocket passer.

I say you didn't need to start another thread on this.

Fire Les, of course. Nothing's going to change enough for us to be satisfied with what we have. Anyone that can't see this, as this point, needs to go, too.

I agree, i was ready for a change last year. As long as Miles is in the picture it will be the same exact vanilla offense. Brandon Harris can still make plays with his feet regardless who the coach is though.

I agree with #1 and #4 a lot

Yeah, the offensive line was the worst thing IMO. shite, i think if you had a non-mobile QB out there you may have seen a worse game.
The sad part about the line, it was a damn miss communication issue more than a just getting beat problem.

How much are we short on the buy-out?

Don't you think it is more of a mental issue? I think he struggles between the ears rather than not having the ability to throw an accurate pass.

He also throws some pretty dangerous balls. He continues to throw several balls that puts the receiver at a disadvantage.
I just hope he doesn't get anybody hurt again this year like he did Dural.

The way I see it is Hurd, the Alabama QB is not better than Harris. But Alabama puts players in motion and just create mismatches to put their QB in a successful situation. We do not and I wish that were not the choice.

Les needs to stop calling the live-or-die passes. Sure, have a few of those, but the majority of our passes should be the "quick-win" passes that boost both Harris and he WRs confidence.
