All LP Field Parking is sold out. The best place for game day parking is at Main Event Parking lot. You can Google Map from their website to the lot. Drove by last night and already had 10 big LSU RV's set up. I've lived in Nashville for 10 years and this is the best secure parking with easy in and out right onto the freeway.
Geaux Tigers!!! Drive Safe everyone! Pictures of LSU Fans Tailgating this morning, more will be posted by halftime of game. LInk
Here's the latest report posted on the Tennessean about game day parking,.
Music City Bowl
Kickoff for the Music City Bowl is at 2 p.m. Tuesday, and LP Field gates open at noon. LP Field parking lots open at 8 a.m. for those with parking passes. Stadium parking is sold out.
Fans driving to the city on game day should follow the instructions on interstate message boards, and parking information can be found at parkitdowntown.com. The stadium is a quick walk from downtown by way of the Woodland Street Bridge or the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The Gray Line of Tennessee is offering a park-and-ride shuttle bus service to the game starting at 12:30 p.m. from Greer Stadium, which is south of downtown at 534 Chestnut St. A shuttle will also run from the Renaissance Hotel beginning at 12:30 p.m. Both routes will run until game time Tuesday and the round trip costs $10 per person.
Woodland Street Bridge closes to regular traffic at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and will be open to pedestrians and shuttle buses only. The Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge will be open to east and westbound traffic until the beginning of the fourth quarter, at which time the bridge will be restricted to westbound traffic only to clear the stadium.
Commuters traveling to East Nashville on Tuesday afternoon should take James Roberston Parkway. Officers will be at downtown intersections to help with traffic flow. Downtown drivers who want to use the interstates should use the Rosa L. Parks Boulevard, Jefferson Street, Church Street or Broadway interchanges.
