If he is brought over as DC and BDP retained, my enthusiasm will wane.

Hasn't worked out well for him this year but he's had some stout units in the past. those auburn teams he had after he left here were nasty.

Meh. Maybe. But he shine is certainly off. But you don't go from the HC at Florida to a journeyman DC. He'll want to be a head coach again soon. He'd only be at LSU a year or two. I wouldn't hate the hire, but he wouldn't be my 1st choice.

Texas fans were thrilled when he left.

And he's done a bang-up job on his bumper contract at Auburn this season...
