2013- QB-#8 Z. Mettenberger RB-#33 J. Hill WR-#80 J Landry #3 O. Beckham

2007- QB-#15 M. FLYNN RB-#18 J. HESTER WR-#1 B. Lafell #2 D. Byrd

2005-QB-#4 J. Russell RB-#10 J. Addai WR-#80 D. Bowe #9 E. Doucet

2003-QB-#18 M. Mauck RB-#J. Vincent WR-#14 M. Clayton #9 D. Henderson

2001-Qb-#6 R. Davey RB-#31 D. Davis WR-#25 J. Reed #9 M. Clayton

We just witnessed the first 3000yd passer, 1000yd rusher and two 1000yd receivers in LSU history this past year. I recently started thinking about how they stack up to past great skill position groups.

Where do they rank in your mind in terms of total talent?
Which is your personal favorite?
If you had to pick 1Qb,1RB and 2WRs. from this group, who would you pick?

PP7, Mo, Tyrann, Reid, Brandon, Brooks and Tharold.

Were they all on the team at the same time?

couple things:

- 01's number 1 RB was Toefield.
- you might wanna throw the 06 group of Russell/ Bowe/ Buster / Keiland in (feel free to swap in Early for Buster or Hester for Keiland)

at any rate, I'm taking 06

"dream team": JR (06 version), Reed, Bowe, J Hill

I would put 2001 over 2003.

How only one other person put Reed as a WR is beyond me...

Are they ranked according to which team holds the record for total offence in a season?

That record would go to the 2009 season. But I'm not here to point out the negative aspects of this awesome period in LSU football history.
I'll leave that to the many meauxrawns that frequent this site!
