Most feared team in tourament ?

Many LSU "fans" who are down on the Tigers need to think about this. Instead of fearing who LSU plays know that EVERY teams worst fear right now is matching up against the Tigers at the Box.Then hoping LSU goes in the losers bracket in Omaha so they'll get a shot at our bullpen. In Omaha, two great pitchers and the best closer in college = CWS WIN!

I question any fan of LSU being down on a team that has done nothing but stay in the top 5 nationally all year, won the SEC reg. season, won the SEC tournament, sits in perfect position in the Baton Rouge Regional, all the while doing it with a mix of young talent and experienced pitching. What is there to be critical of? Enjoy what we have at LSU....

They don't understand baseball. The reason baseball is played in series is that you need multiple games to find the better team. In football the most talented fastest team w/ the best QB and Coach almost always win. In baseball, balls and strikes as well as the person calling them make a huge difference. Balls don't always find holes. A good record in baseball is just over .500. That record in football gets you fired.
Those who know the game are not down on this team. Those who are down on this team don't know the game.

Lurking around message boards during this regional time can be VERY interesting. What a lot of LSU fans don't understand is that most teams around the country are hoping & praying to stay the hell away from this LSU team for as long as they can. NOBODY is chomping at the bit to meet up with LSU. We, LSU fans, are often so caught up in the trees that we don't see the forest. Sure LSU has some problems hitting lefties & our offense seems to take a while to get started but most everyone else sees LSU as a COMPLETE & very DANGEROUS team. I'm really liking the feel of this team, they don't do it with bells & whistles but they DO IT & that is what gets you to Omaha & beyond.
