I just hope a 9 game conference schedule doesn't shelve it completely

You mean like LSU Bama back in 1997
Bring it on!
It very well could happen.
LSU Vandy and even a team like Ark could make a run.

I'm stoked about the game next year being in Houston. If the other half ends up happening at Lambeau, this will be me ->

Green Bay blows other than Lambeau. People will be very disappointed in the hotel, restaurant, and bar scene.

Note the "role" that ESPN apparently has in this game. As the game would be 2 or 3 yrs away, why would ESPN even be involved at this point? Unless it's just getting ready for its role in the SEC contract. One that will no doubt get even bigger & bigger when it comes to SEC teams' scheduling games.

Totally against playing 2 "neutral site" games in close proximity to each school's campus. Either play ONE neutral site game or agree to a home-home arrangement. Besides the novelty, I don't understand.

I get the point you're making. However the Masters is a lot more prestigious, famous, and it lasts A LOT longer.

I will go to Lambeau if we have a game there, I'm just saying that there will be some people shocked by the crappiness and small size of Green Bay (much like every year first time Masters visitors react when they see Augusta).

Also, a lot of people in the South don't realize how fricking cool Madison and Camp Randall are. It is a top tier SEC level venue and city. A home and home would be absolutely awesome.

I thought it was clearly a money thing.

I agree LSU fans would love Madison. I've always told anyone that would listen down here, Badger fans are very similar culturally to LSU fans. It would be a great time.

Agree. I thought this was college football. Going to campus is part of what makes it college football.

Hopefully if the game up there does happen, it's not in Nov. It gets cold as shite up there, especially if that fricking wind is blowing. Madison is a great college sports venue & they can flat out drink beer, a lot of beer. And those coeds, when not all bundled up, are something else. Picture 1000's of Swedish blondes, all intoxicated at the same time.

I'm all for it as long as it is no later than late Sept.
