CBS had Eric Reid middle of the second round and said he ran a 4:59the 40 all the reports I've seen have him running a 4:53

That's why they're mock drafts.

Just wait and see where our boys get drafted.

No point in putting a lot of stock in someone else's best guess.

Reid ran a 4:53 and had an amazing combine why would his stock fall and suddenly a from Texas jumps ahead of him?

Not sure why people get excited about mock drafts, all it takes is 1 team to fall in love with a player for him to go a lot higher than expected. Tebow is a prime example as no mock or analyst had him in 1st round.

An example for this board is Ridley as many expected him around the 5th because of his numbers and then Pats jumped and took him in 3rd.

Dont sweat it. There are still mocks that have Mantai Teo going mid first. Discounting the whole fake girlfriend thing, his performance in the NC game against Bama was pretty bad.

Reid going in the middle of the second round seems about right

The only one I know of: LINK
Eric Reid stayed in the same spot. Montgomery obviously dropped a lot to round 3 with his comments. Minter stayed in the same spot. Mingo moved up. Logan dropped a few spots. Simon went from 4th round to 3rd. Mathieu dropped from the 3rd to the 4th.

tduecen, I completely agree with you. I don't understand why anyone gives a crap about what ESPN "Draft Experts" or Mike Mayock think about the draft. The real thing is, they really don't know what a team is going to do. They could have a good idea, but they really don't know. I don't ever worry about Mock Drafts because usually, they are just done to get people talking. For instance, last year, I don't think anyone had Claiborne going to the Cowboys and especially not going that late, but it happened. You really cannot predict anything after usually the first 2 or 3 picks and usually because you know they will be quarterbacks, besides that, just wait until the draft and see what happens.

This is not always true. This is definitely a year without "elite" QBs. It'll be interesting to see when the first one is taken (if it's not KC at number one...just because they are desperate).

I like Mingo to N.O. obv, but his first 10 picks stink. Those are supposed to the easy ones! I look at that sit a lot, but that guy tries too hard to be funny and comes off as dick sometimes.

Yes, these are pretty worthless. SI had one yesterday that was rating the defense ends and there was no mention at all of Sam.

Do people really expect him to fall that far because of his comments? Wasn't he projected to be a 1st rounder before?
