Mitts on base runners hands???

Sliding gloves

Just in case there's a hot skillet around the ballpark.

I hate the mitts btw.

It gets really cold out there in the field.

I was wondering this as well...figured it was to protect fingers when sliding...

I have also seen players hold a batting glove in each hand to keep a fist instead of snagging fingers.

Hello there sidewalk I only watch baseball in the post season fan.

when K rob slide that glove on my wife asked what the hell is that? I explained -she called it a P$$$y glove! I'm sure I will get tons of remarks for this one, but seriously my wife enjoys baseball and to hear her say this had me dieing laughing.
