Miles the genius icon...

I'm talking strictly defense here. LSU is the first team in history to run a 2 unit defensive attack. Unit 1 is the Chavis led attack defense that plays hard nosed, bust you in the chops style of defense. The number 2 unit is the Miles/Crowton led defense that passes itself off as an offense. The multi function of the #2 unit is to keep the game close, to rest the #1 unit and to give the special teams a chance to win the game with field goals and special team TD's.
