Some will. It's easier to appreciate something after it's gone. If we get a great replacement that gives us another decade of elite production, even some Miles haters will look fondly on his tenure when they need it to highlight 25 years of LSU being at the top of the college football world.

What exactly is the point of not allowing him to coach the Bowl game as his finally?
Total disrespect for a man that was extremely loyal to LSU.

He doesn't want to coach the bowl game. Once they get rid of you, you don't stick around for the bowl game. Plus, if he's interested in another job, he can focus on that.

Wow. Great coach - really enjoyed his time here. Wish him all the best and look forward to where a new staff will lead the Tigers.

So does that mean that Cam Cameron will coach the bowl game?

shite no.

Frank will, unless he takes another job.

I wish he'd coach the bowl game for a proper send off.
Meanwhile the new coach could be burning up the recruiting trail and getting staff in order for s fresh start.

Les wants the South Carolina job. If he is named the HC at USCE, he will be recruiting in lieu of preparing LSU for the bowl game.

One very wealthy trucking operation owner in Lincoln Parish is said to pay the buyout himself and not dip into the TAF funds to do so. Jimbo is coming.

Boosters bet millions against LSU to cover buyout.

As you should be. Nobody had a better career on the sideline at LSu than Miles did. He took a program he got from Saban and made it better.

it's like a break up. it doesn't mean you don't love the other person, but it isn't working out.

I'm sure it's going to hit a lot of people in due time... appreciate everything you did, Les.
