Watching that clunker of a game against aTm last November, I seem to remember quite a few fans at Tiger Stadium chanting for Miles to stay...I wonder how those folks feel that way today and if they would do the same?
Someone a little while ago looked back to 1999, when DiNardo told reporters at SEC Media Days "we'll find a way", but a way was never found and DiNardo was pink-slipped during the season. This sure does remind me of 1999, because there are surely more losses to come (this team will get RUN by Bama). Our offense can't sustain a drive, and the defense is gonna spend way too much time on the field this season, as it did yesterday. Hope Aranda knows what he got himself in to!
I just wonder how many of those Miles chanters will be wanting him to stay when it's all said and done. I can honestly see this team having a rough time with Jacksonville State on Saturday the way Aubarn did last year.
Miles supporters, the ones that were hollering for Less at Tiger Stadium in November...you sure are quiet today!

To be honest, I didn't imagine I would see that suckfest following the aTm game, but we did! Sickening!

I think a lot were cheering to say goodbye and thanks. All the while feeling secure in the fact he was gone.

That was for his service over the years. A nice good bye. That was it

my opinion doesn't matter but I've officially gotten off of his band wagon and the "who are we going to find that's any better?" side, he's too comfortable, won't change, and knows it, you always need someone that's hungry in that position, he's not, geez I would love to be an agent for guys like him

Most women still support him...and men that don't understand football

Well, there were alot of folks in TS last November who wanted him to stay. It was embrrassing, as if those folks love mediocrity! I have been sick of the "services" of Less Miles for a LONG time.

They were chanting for him to stay and secretly happy because they thought he was gone. Hardly anyone wanted to man up, be realistic and look like an a-hole. Even Shaquille Oneal talked about how much of a shame it was a man like Coach Miles was getting run off, then the big bastard turned around about two months later and said he wished we still had Saban instead! People are full of shite when the camera is on them.

I'll stand up and identify myself as a consistent Miles supporter. But like all good things, it has to come to an end. Start the search quietly and make the transition in a classy way. Thank Les for his years of service and move on. It's over.

Joe Alleva is laughing inside at King Alexander for making the athletic department keep Miles. Joe is telling him I told you so.
What I never understood about last year is Miles' "want" to keep the job when no one other than Alexander and Jindal wanted him to stay. Who would fight to keep a job under those circumstances. Let me answer that, the same guy who won't change philosophy even after being rescued off of the chopping block.

Of course they would. They got the dumpster fire they were campaigning for and now they are going to enjoy every minute of it. They never want it to end, just like Alabama, Ole Miss, A&M, Arkansas, etc. fans don't. Everybody who hates LSU wants Les Miles to stay. Unfortunately, the governor who appoints the people who control LSU is one of them. Bobby Jindal is laughing his arse off right now at the shitstorm he started.

What is it with all these internet warriors trying to call other fans out? There's been at least 50 of these threads.
Reality is the way LSU was handling the Miles situation last year was embarrassing and if the booster who leaked the info could've kept his or her mouth shut we may have a new coach this year. Instead they disrespected a coach who has done a lot for LSU and that was wrong and that's why people, myself included, were happy to see that it didn't end that way. He has his faults. He and everyone else in the country knows his job is on the line this year if changes aren't made. It's up to him to do it.
Stop with the fan on fan hostility. Focus your anger where it should be focused and not on other LSU fans.
