every article you read or post practice press conference you listen to he is pumping up JJ...

Same story different year. People need to realize JJ will be our QB this year.

I will be glad when JJ's eligibility is up and he is out of the way of LSU football.

It is getting a little old, kinda like he is trying to convince everyone, maybe himself, that jj is the best qb. He did the same thing last year but it seems this year, probably because of all the hype/buzz about Mett, that he is going a little overboard. Having said that, hey, maybe jj is a "man on a mission" & is tearing it up, I hope so. But the constant praise is a little suspicious. What I think it does say is, jj IS the starter, regardless of who we signed &/or hired as an OC.

Just providing some balance for the sunshine pumpers who believe, and have done for decades, that any untested new QB has to be better than the one LSU had last year, whoever he was.

Looking at those stats, I would have to say that it wouldn't be a stretch to think that even an untested qb could be better than the one we had last year.

have you ever seen Les NOT pump a player.....at any position? It's what he does. I'm pretty sure he's pumped up Lee and Mett at some point too.

This is the truth. Unfortunately, for the past 2 years the best option has been JJ - he does just enough to warrant playing time. He has had two or three "best games of his career," followed by weeks of inconsistency.

The same stuff was said last year! I took an indifferent, I'll believe it until I see it approach. This year its a, I don't believe it, and will be shocked if I see it approach. If it happens, I'll gladly eat crow.
