Miles needs to look at Tom Coughlin...

Coughlin ran his teams like a military unit for many years. He lost a lot of support from his team from being overbearing as a disciplinarian. He made a paradigm shift to adjust his style to the team rather than the other way around and has won two Superbowls since.
Les Miles does not need to do anything drastic in changing his style. He just needs to modify a few things with allowing others to make in-game offensive decisions being one of them.

How off-base can you possibly get? You think Les runs a military-type operation here? This team is as undisciplined as any in college football. It's a family gathering more than an army unit.
And we are already in trouble because we run a pro-style offense. This is not the NFL... it's college football, where deception and diversity work wonders over inexperienced student athletes.

That was not my point. My point is that NO ONE was as stubborn as Coughlin in how he ran his team yet he found the ability to change.
Hell, Saban ran the No Huddle Hurry Up this year and he hired Lane Kiffin last year. Those were not not old Saban moves.
