Reminded me of the Alabama national championship game. Sticking with Jefferson. Jennings missing open receiver after open receiver was ridiculous. I know miles didn't want to hurt his confidence yanking him too early but Harris should have started the 4th quarter. I waited until LSU's 2nd possession in the 4th and when Harris didn't go out I was gone. 1st game I have left in my lifetime. I didn't quit the tigers this game I quit Les Miles "this game".

I totally disagree. Harris should have started after half time.

This ones on the defense period. Yeah the O struggled, but the D was bitch-slapped around by inferior talent up front for 4 quarters.

Does this mean Miles is responsible for winning the 98 games LSU has won since he's been head coach here?

yep. of course some idiots will always blame miles for every bad thing that happens during the game.

run up the middle that scores a TD..."great call"
run up the middle that gets stuffed..."stupid call"

by the time Brandon Harris entered the game, Mullins had his bench players in. the kid played great but this team is deficient in a lot more areas than QB

Moron. Less than moron. That loss is on the defense. The fact that LSU put up 19 meaningless points in garbage time against MSU's backups and their turnovers is irrelevant.

If it's the 4th quarter and your offense has scored 3 points and your opponent over 30, you are a fool to keep the same QB in. There is no choice there.

I started multiple threads last night saying this and Miles apologists kept saying it's not the QB.

Then when Miles is forced to change quarterbacks we come back in 3 minutes and are one catch from a win and his apologists STILL say "it's not the quarterback".

Amazing.

They should be alternating series all year. I also learned last night that jennings does not have the arm i thought he did. Harries does have a cannon.

19 meaningless points?!?! Really? We were one catch from wining the mother fricking game!!!

Do you understand that?

One catch from winning the game!

How are those 19 points "meaningless" when those 19 points allowed us the opportunity to win the game with one damn catch?!?

Some of you need to apply for SSI mental disability.

well they were flukey TDs and we got lucky on a bad snap putting us in position for one of those

relying on that kind of shite is going to lead to a worse offense than miles relying on the i-form

One other little point, when the Moo U head coach saw what was happening, some starters began re-entering the game.

Jennings has the Billy Kilmer dying quail pass. Billy went to the Super Bowl but that was his pass. All air underneath and no spiral zip.

That's Jennings. His passes float up and the then down. Our receivers are like outfielders.

Sometimes those passes can work like for a fade. But that's all Jennjngs can throw.

That was a beat down of epic proportions. One of the worst losses of miles tenure. Unranked team beat LSU at home AT NIGHT

And they still couldn't stop us. The clock stopped us.

I bet you are pulling against us weren't you? You were. Because you knew youd have a harder time defending why any sane person would keep the guy in who couldn't score a touch down in 3.5 quarters while his opponent scored 30 plus.

Name a coach on the planet that does that besides Miles? Name one.

Name a mother fricking coach who in a national championship game cannot make a first down and is down 21 points and keeps his starter in.

NAme one besides Miles.

Please try.

It was a team loss.

Defense had more holes than swiss cheese, and the offense couldn't move the ball.

(Offense) Not being able to score after 4 downs from the 2, and two 3rd and long touchdowns (defense) were all you needed to know about that game...

Last year we beat Mississippi St 59-26. Miss State scored 29 points this year. I think I can easily spot what was missing from this year's game.

Very mature analysis. I lost my teddy bear. Someone's to blame. Someone must pay!

It's a team loss. The offense and defense were bad. Our D scored more points than our offense (7 to 3) well into the 4th quarter...at home against MSU...that's sad.
