Fantastic recruiter (maybe LSU recruits itself, who knows) but at the end of the day - DAMN he's a lazy coach

I don't think it's stubbornness as much as "I just need to do the minimum to keep my check coming in" at this point.

Well, let the coordinators do their jobs and get out of the way!

i think its a combination of stubbornness and like you said, he's already filthy rich, knows hes getting close to retiring so he probably has quit pushing himself near as much

i mean if you're already rich, close to retiring, almost get fired, but don't at the last minute, why change anything when you can get one more year of 5 mil??

Miles should just sit in the press box and watch cause he sure as hell is not doing anything positive on the sideline.

Well since Alleva and F. King don't require any accountability whatsoever, I guess I can understand him being lazy. Not only that, Les can tell those idiots any lie he wants and they'll believe it. Like this one, "I'm going to make some changes to the offense."

They shouldn't let Miles go to practice. Just keep his arse up there in the Football Ops drawing doodles or some shite.

Just stay far away from the offense.

He's so OVERRATED as a recruiter. The assistants like Wilson, Orgeron, McCarthy, Porter, Grimes, and every assistant we've had over the years are the ones who put in the groundwork to seal the deal on these kids. Les Miles gets the last visit, but the assistants have a lot more pull.

And yes, he's lazy. He would rather smash Fournette into the teeth of the defense and ride the back of Fournette's talent than try to help Fournette with a better overall gameplan to take the pressure off of him.

Dude I believe you considering all of the coaches meetings and practices you have been to. Throw in all of the private and personal conversations you have had with Miles regarding his inner feeling, you certainly give us an insider's view of things.

Thanks.

These kids come to LSU with the promise and hope of a big pay day in the NFL. Historically, LSU has promoted this and it works getting them there. But LM never has increased anyone's stock. The elite players remain elite on the team, no one really improves, at least at the QB position.
