Miles: "Harris didn't take his shoulder pads off."

LSU sophomore Brandon Harris was set to make the second start of his college career this past weekend, but LSU's season opener was pushed back a week following the decision to cancel the McNeese State matchup.
The delay lasted four hours in total, and LSU's players did everything from eat to lift weights. Most got back into their warmups.
Minus Harris.
"It was miserable for him," Miles said. "He was one of the guys who didn’t take his shoulder pads off the whole time. He really wanted to play. You could see the disappointment in his face."
The big question now becomes what the second-time starter looks like this weekend in Starkville. With cowbells ringing and kickoff not scheduled until 8:15 p.m., Davis Wade Stadium will certainly be rocking - which paints a similar picture to the environment Harris stepped into during his only other start, which came last season in a blowout loss at Auburn.
One year later, Harris doesn't have any more starts under his belt, but he is carrying a new confidence thanks to the development he's made this offseason. But given it's only the second time he's taken the field as the team's starter, Miles said the staff's message is a simple one: play your role and let the other 10 guys on offense play their role.
"He’s going to play and play well," Miles said. "He just needs to relax and look forward to playing with a talented team."

That is a great pic! He is gonna be alright. There will be some bumps, but he is gonna be alright and will win a lot of football games under center for LSU before he leaves.

Is that a play sheet in his hand ? I like where his mind is.

Will this be his second start at LSU? The article was very unclear about that.

Gotta suck for the dude. He's been waiting since the Auburn game to get this opportunity again, put in all the off season work to get to this point, got one series and then the game got cancelled.

Not sure what my favorite part of the pic is... BH studying plays or Johnny Football and A&M getting waxed!

Could that be a "secret playsheet"?
