Miles keep saying in his interviews that he believes the the defense played well, he said it in the inteview after the South C. game and again after the Ga. game. He is out of touch. There is intirely to much talent and experience on the LSU defense for them to be playing this way. This is a complete breakdown. If the defense plays the way they should have, LSU beats Ga. in a close game.

This is the worst part of the whole thing with the defensive meltdowns against UF and UGA. Miles will just not admit that there is a problem. That stubborness to the point of absurdity thing is really starting to wear on me.

He isn't throwing his coaches or players to the wolfs in the media. He's protecting his team just as a head coach should. We have no clue what's going on behind closed doors. You had tons of confidence in Miles last year and it shouldn't waiver now. He's busting asses in there

Agree 100% but maybe he doesn't want to embarress himself or the co-tards and will deal with it at the end of the season. If he does that then he is the Lesticles I know.

Come on guys. You ought to know by now that Miles is not the kind of guy that's going to do an Urban and start throwing people under the bus at the first signs of trouble. I think he's going to let it play out for the season and see if there's at least some improvement as season comes to a close. If not, I expect him to make some off-season coaching changes. I'll judge his performance on what he does, not what he may say in an interview.

He certainly doesn't hold back on his Jarret Lee comments does he? It has nothing to do with throwing players or coaches under the bus. He pushed to promote from within and now it's blowing up in his face. I have faith in The Hat. He'll fix this shite in the spring.

When the fan's clueless expectations are not met, a lot of idiots call for someone to be fired. That is the only way they know how to fix the problem.

Continuing the coaching process is not an option since they are totally ignorant about coaching.

He probably made the decision thinking it would be a one year trail anyway. He was hoping to get a similar performance to last year.

However, plenty on TD were completely done with BoP and blamed our loses on him alone.

Greg is trying to hard sell approach on his "Blame Miles" turd.

Exactly. Then after they litter the board with this tripe, they will ask "Why didn't Miles get better players in the 2009 recruitng class?"

People who claim to be LSU fans..with an obvious agenda. Very sad. "Jordi"?? shesh..

Miles is a coach that learned from one of the more respected and ethical coaches. His scruitiny and judgement of the team is left for the locker room and not the talking heads.

Everyone on this board complains whenever someone bashes a player but when the coach doesn't do it, they bash the coach. Definition of rantard.

The sad thing is, he probably has to make decisions based on what a bunch of stupid fans want instead of doing what is better for long term.

Many head coaches are often hard-headed and defensive. LSU's former HC started out pretty much a know-it-all too at first, but he soon learned to at least listen to the reasonable complaints for several reasons. I believe that Coach Miles will do the same for the same reasons, his success and his survival! The fans have a ligit gripe about the defense...just my HO.

Miles > Tubby

There really isn't anything that Coach Miles can do right now that will help the defense, other than working behind the scenes with the coaches and players that he has. If he fired the Co DCs, then what? Who worth having would he hire? What message does it send?

Coach Miles is human. He made a mistake with the Co-DC thing. It happens. He will correct it in the off season when better options are available. Those options will be available to him because he has shown that he is a class guy.

How many good OCs do you think will be knocking on Tubby's door after he fired Franklin mid-season?

Note to Les Miles: I'd say the team has a ligit gripe about the defense too -- about the way their talent is being flushed down the drain thanks to inept coaching by those infamous DC-twins.
