A capable QB who is a fit (i.e. pro style)

My other thread repeats this, but I wanted to pose one simple question:

How good was LSU's offense in 2013?

.......the system is fine......the keystone is not. When Les refers to execution, he is spot on but holding back throwing his QBs under the bus. He will gladly take all the criticism to protect his kids when there are no other alternatives for this season.

That said, I do hold Les accountable for not seeing the train coming. Mett had an expiration date and he should've accounted for this. I would hope he tried and life got it the way. That goofy man knows more than any of us when it comes to the intricacies of a major college program.

The system sucks man, mett was just extraordinarily good.

How many times did we run a single wr route and mett sent a laser between 2 defenders?

So, I cite results and your rebuttal is that Mett was otherworldly. Come on man.

Ok, what about 2007?

The staff did with Stephen Rivers. He should really be our current starter, but he can't even beat people out for the spot at Vandy.

Well according to Tigerbait we offered a Juco QB by the name of Chad Kelly, which is believed to be Jim Kelly's Nephew. Wonder if he works with Miles Offensive Philosophy

Dude. Trying to explain stuff like this to he Rant is like trying to explain advanced calculus to a bunch of 5 year olds. Good luck with that endeavor.

So, why doesn't he recruit some pro-style QB's?

And, furthermore, why does he run a 4 Star Pro Style QB out of the program? Was Rettig not a fit?

BigEd, you are based completely on conjecture.....while some may/may not agree, its subjective as hell.

Your questions restate my position......maybe Rettig was a pain in the arse, punk, etc. Who knows, but there are reasons for the way a major college program develops that are not apparent to the untrained eye. We, as fans, are primarily based in absolutes of why things should/should not happen. Behind the scenes shite is complicated as hell.

The fact that you had to go back 5+ years should tell you all you need to know.
