Even if Miles stays next year, other schools will use his supposed lame duck status against LSU.
Plus, if Alleva doesn't renew Cameron's contract, what Miles wants is moot.

This has been a very strong point among our QB's for years, so I'm excited to see Franks taken into the fold.

Why do people have a problem with a guy that runs an offense that had a 3,000 yard passer, two 1,000 yard receivers, and a 1,000 yard rusher? Is it not obvious that Cam was limited by his QB the past couple seasons?
You don't remember the details of that season. Most of that 3000 yards passing came on desperation 3rd and longs. That was all on massive talent. We need to be able to succeed sometimes without the best talent in the land. You can't get 4 players of that caliber very often.

Hard for me to understand how Franks can come in, push Harris et al out, and light up the season in his first year. An earlier post today had a rational point that it takes several years for an SEC QB to develop -- i.e., Alabama. If Les gets only one more year to improve, how does Franks impact the situation?

Maybe Miles will dab for him and this will win him over?

I betcha Peveto is staying on too. He's a great coaching consultant on the sidelines during games. Les would be lost (or more lost) without him!

Most? That might be the most ridiculous statement I've ever seen on this site.

I think you're forgetting what Mett, OBJ, and Landry looked like the season before that one. OBJ and Landry were dropping passes left and right and weren't nearly on that same level, and Mett wasn't either. Yet people expect a title from a group of core offensive players who are true sophomores this year.

If keeping Cam means keeping Franks, then I'm in.

Why people care who the OC is is beyond me. People smash the play calling regardless who it is assuming it's Miles.

Cam Cameron is capable

the problem is Les conservative play calling

And biggest problem here is that Franks knows that Les is probably gone after next season..

Miles has another year, but it's kind of a win it all type of scenario...Less than Atlanta next year is not acceptable in my eyes... Alabama loses a ton, so does Ole Miss and Arkansas...all 3 teams we lost to

UF will be better, and AU will be better...two road games next year!!!!

I have little faith, sorry, just going off a 11 year track record...I hope to win, versus "I kind of know we will win"...we have lost that mental edge

Leonard's Class was off the charts good, this will be their Junior year to shine...

Yes. Also people need to understand that the OC has no bearing on what the LSU offense will do.

Thanks.

Of course nothing changes and Miles controls everything.. but at least it might show things may be different if he would go another direction.. but who are we kidding

think about your statement man. the OC may have to get the game plan from the HC but who in the hell do you think oversees the OL, WR and RB coaches. the OC has a huge bearing on coaching the players.

What was wrong with Les' play calling during Mett's last year? He can only call what his players are capable of executing.
