Mike the Tiger

So I have heard this a couple times, but when I read a post yesterday I decided that I really wanted to film this.
Supposedly, Mikie Mahtook's uncle visits Mike the Tiger before many baseball games. For some reason, Mike does not like this man at all. I've heard that he jumps up, growls, and comes right up to the glass and shows his teeth. In general, he freaks out.
Does anyone know what time that Mahtook's uncle (if it really is his uncle) tends to show up? I would love to get this on video.

I don't know who the guy was Sat around 5:00pm, but I had my grandbaby with me and this guy was staring at Mike by the windows. Mike kept stalking this guy and finally when the guy bent down by one of the windows, Mike jumped 10' into the water right where this guy was. Scared the crap out of all of us. I had never seen this before. Guy said Mike does this everytime he sees him. Wish I would have had camera ready it was a sight to behold.

I've seen this too. Mike will follow this guy around and jump up and strike the glass.

Yeah, I want to video this. Hopefully, I'll post it for all to see. If anyone knows about what time he regularly shows up, let me know.

If you do get it video taped it'd be much appreciated if you posted it.

Mike jumps at a lot of people, My dad was walking by when a little girl was standing next to the glass and mike kept trying to jump through the glass at her. If you pass by his cage often, he begins to take notice of you. Last semester I used to pass his cage just about every day walking to and from CEBA and he eventually started looking at me, following me as I walked past, etc.

I knew a (male) cheerleader when I went to LSU - 86-92, and no...I didn't get a graduate degree - and he told me that there's always one or two people who freak Mike (regardless of Roman numeral) out. It just so happened that at that time it was another (male) cheerleader.
They'd use this guy...putting his mug right up next to his cage...to get Mike to roar for sound recordings and to get him riled up when the visiting team showed up and just before entering the stadium. He said whenever this guy was in Mike's field of view, the Tiger just went nuts.
And to head off any OT-esque questions, nobody involved in the above account was gay (that I know of) or had anything PITB at any time.

When is Mike going to be allowed to night games at Tiger Stadium? It would be sick to see him in his cage waiting for the Gators to come out of that tunnel on October 10th!

I think Rosco need therapy. He needs an attitude adjustment. If he is going to represent LSU he needs to get with the program.

I'd love to see it one day. Sounds like the day they first let him into the habitat.

I've seen it first hand and it is unreal. The tiger goes nuts. If you have a chance to see it you gotta. The only thing better than watching the tiger is watching Mikie and Hanover do their thing. Go tigers !!
