He says something about it before every throw JJ makes. Too bad when the lights come on, he can't always make the big throws

JJ can throw it out of the stadium, there's no doubt.
But it's one thing to make those throws when you know what cuts those receivers are making, there's no coverage, and there's no pass rush. It's quite another thing to do it in a game.

guy looks great when no defenders are across from him
it's when you add a defense that well it becomes a problem
good luck to him but if someone goes off his workouts and measurables well they'll end up disappointed

what's going to be funny is when they run a 7 on 7 with no line and JJ takes off running when the primary is covered.

Technically speaking, JJ has a very good arm. He also has good height and speed. It's how all of those things are used together that is the problem.

does he really? he always looked kinda unimpressive to me when they'd show those passing drill videos from spring/ fall camp.

hopefully he gets drafted by a team with a proven qb and good qb coach. Krags just didn't have enough time and the fight bullshite really set him back. I've seen the kid make a lot of really good throws and I've seen the kid make a lot or really poor throws so you just have to figure with time and more good coaching he still has a chance to make it work. I wish him luck and good health.
